Hello Puzzle World! 2024 was a busy year for the Solves family that involved a wedding, losing my job and finding a new job, a bucket list trip to the Edinburgh fringe festival, and then we finished the year by selling our house and buying a new one. This combined with twitch no longer supporting the streaming software I was using put a damper on the puzzles part of my life. We are hoping for a bit less of a life event speedrun for 2025, and let’s start it with a puzzle that has been on the back burner for many months but which I finally had time to come in and give it a fresh coat of paint and a tune-up.
This puzzle is overly stuffed with its theme, not just with the spanners but with nearly every clue. Only a few clues managed to escape the theme, though if anyone has suggestions how to link them to a videogame let me know in the comments! Finally, thank you to my friends who gave this a test solve, and thank you to those who gave me a few ideas on how to drag a few clues into the theme. I hope you enjoy it!
